The Owner

Linda Peavy is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and the owner of LiPav Consulting, a marketing, grant writing, and communications firm. Services include faith-based non-profit and denominational consulting, fund development, marketing campaigns, event planning, literary representation, and book campaigns. Self-published books are created under the LiPav Publishing imprint.

As a faith-based non-profit consultant, Linda has provided services for more than six denominations and numerous organizations. Through her grant writing services, she has worked with the largest foundations in the region. Linda has secured funding in excess of $1,000,000 for non-profit organizations in the past year. Additionally, she consults with foundations to provide seamless grant administration. Linda is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and American Grant Writing Association.

Linda’s 17 years of professional publishing experience has led to the publication of more than 500 books. She has worked with Ruby Dee, T. D. Jakes, Bishop Donald Hilliard, Dr. James Perkins, Dr. Gardner C. Taylor, and dozens of other authors. Her marketing skills have garnered publicity for clients in Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, The Los Angeles Time newspaper, and Guideposts. Her personal writings can be found in The Book of Daily Prayer, 2001 (United Church Press), Women at the Well, Volume 2 (Judson Press), and the Women of Color Devotional Bible (Nia Publishing). Linda has spoken before audiences exceeding 10,000 people, and she is a member of the Advisory Board for Precious Times magazine, a leading Christian women’s periodical.

An advocate for youth education, Linda serves as Associate Program Director for the At the Well Young Women’s Leadership Academy, an annual two-week summer institute for minority teen girls held on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. Linda earned a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing and an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Akron. Her motto is “never let mediocrity be your measuring tool.” In December 2005, the Cleveland Chapter of the National Black MBA Association inducted her into the Leadership Hall of Fame. Linda was chosen for the 2013 and 2014 directories for Who’s Who in Black Cleveland. Linda is single and resides in Willoughby Hills, OH. She is devoted to her family, which includes seven sisters and brothers and several nieces and nephews. An avid traveler, her favorite destinations include Paris, London, and Honolulu.
